Exciting Leadership Team Updates at SF SafeHouse! San Francisco SafeHouse is excited to announce the hire of our organization's first ever Chief Development Officer, Chelsea Leonard!  Chelsea will be responsible for our overall development strategy, assisting with the planning and execution of next year's many 25th Anniversary celebrations, and will be focusing her efforts on building relationships with individuals, foundations and corporations with the ability to give generously towards our mission and continuing to grow and expand our programs. SUMMER IS OVER BUT OUR WORK CONTINUES! We are excited to update you on the amazing things that happened at SafeHouse this summer and how your support has helped us to make real-time decisions to ensure that we can best meet the needs of our women. We thank you for your continued support, your commitment, and for being part of our community. We could not continue our work without unique donors, supporters, and volunteers like you. The Safehouse family has grown, as Toni and her executive team have been laying the groundwork toward establishing a permanent supportive housing program.
We’ve welcomed new staff, including Angela Green (Hope Center Program Manager) and Rhee Pates (Program Manager of the Transitional House), and long-time Director of Programs Kristen Moore welcomes a new baby into her family. The Board of Directors is also excited to have Collen Ma (Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation), Sean Saxton (Lay Pastor for Transgender Ministries and Prayer Ministries at City of Refuge, United Church of Christ), Pamela Merchant (former interim Executive Director of SafeHouse), and Anil Comelo (City Manager, St Helena) join the Safehouse community in 2022.
