Be part of the Legacy of Hope for San Francisco SafeHouse!
The Legacy of Hope is a group of supporters committed to ensuring the longevity of San Francisco SafeHouse and its mission and services through their estate planning. Our initial gift came from Rev. Glenda Hope herself, the Founder and first Executive Director of SafeHouse. We invite you to become part of a community that possesses the foresight and commitment to ending sexual exploitation, prostitution, and sex trafficking.
Leaving a legacy gift is surprisingly easy! Legacy gift planning allows you to provide for both your loved ones and San Francisco SafeHouse. You are not locked in: if your circumstances change, your gift planning can change. Gifts both large and small are important: charitable giving is not only for the wealthy! Bequests from one's estate can be made through a will or living trust, charitable trust, pooled income fund, life insurance policy, stock transfers, or qualified retirement plan. Such gifts allow the work of SafeHouse to be funded for years to come.
We recommend that you contact your tax professional, attorney, or financial advisor to insure that you are getting the maximum tax and legal advantages allowed for your gift. Websites like Leave a Legacy offer online information to demystify planned giving and inspire people from all walks of life and income levels to think beyond their lifespan when doing good works.
If you have already named San Francisco SafeHouse in your estate plan or would like further information on how to do so, please contact Toni Eby, Executive Director at 415.643.7861 or toni@sfsafehouse.org.
